Manpower is recruiting a full time Deputy Lodge Manager for the day shift on a temporary basis, for three months. This position is vital to the efficient running of the College. In this role you will assist the Lodge Manager in the smooth running of the Lodge, ensuring that a high quality, efficient and effective service is provided to all Fellows, students, staff and visitors.

Details:

  • Hourly Pay - 13.40
  • Shift pattern - 3 days on, 3 days off. 12 hour shifts often around 07:00am - 19:00.
  • No parking on site


Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To supervise the Lodge Team and plan and manage the shift rotas to ensure maximum efficiency, excellent communication and good morale. This includes ensuring staff are suitably trained, monitoring their progress and the completion of their annual appraisals and regular one-one meetings.
  • Managing the Lodge Budget, authorising invoices for Lodge expenditure, making sure contracts for equipment are renewed, etc.
  • Motivate and lead the Lodge Team to ensure that staff work cohesively and provide the very best service to all stakeholders.
  • Ensuring the Lodge Team, as a first point of contact with the College, offer a welcoming and highly professional service to its users always.


The post-holder will have customer service and administrative experience, excellent communication skills, the ability to build effective working relationships, IT skills, the ability to use their own initiative and deal effectively with issues that may arise.
