Role Overview:
As a Locum Clinical Pharmacist, you will provide essential pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. You’ll work closely with the healthcare team to optimize medication management for patients and ensure their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medication reviews and assessments.
- Collaborate with medical staff to formulate and adjust treatment plans.
- Provide expert advice on drug therapy, including dosage and interactions.
- Engage in patient counseling and education regarding medication use.
- Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines and regulations.
- Support the training and development of junior pharmacy staff as needed.
Qualifications:
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Previous clinical pharmacy experience is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of the service.
