Pay Rate: £27-37 per hour (dependent on experience)

About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join a prestigious private hospital in Oxford on a locum basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing clinical pharmacy services across multiple wards, with a variety of patients and conditions.
As a Clinical Pharmacist, your role will include dispensing medications, providing clinical consultations, conducting ward rounds, and supporting the wider healthcare team with pharmaceutical care. You will be required to rotate between different hospital wards to provide optimal pharmaceutical support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct clinical ward rounds to assess and review patients' medications.
- Provide expert advice to medical and nursing staff regarding medication management.
- Ensure safe and effective use of medicines across rotational wards.
- Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medication.
- Support in the delivery of medication safety initiatives and audits.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Experience working in a clinical pharmacy environment, preferably in a hospital setting.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Locum experience is desirable but not essential.
