A fantastic Mainstream Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant (Oxford)

  • Providing 1:1 and small group support to SEN students in Oxford
  • Assisting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Global Development Delay, and other additional needs
  • Implementing tailored learning strategies alongside teachers and the SENCO
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation in the classroom
  • Supporting personal care needs (if required) and promoting independence

Requirements - SEN Teaching Assistant (Oxford)

  • Experience working with SEN children (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, or related needs)
  • Level 3 qualification OR relevant degree preferred
  • GCSEs in Maths & English (C or above) required
  • A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to working with SEN students
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
