Full-time | £83 - £90 per day (DOE) | Long-Term Contract
Are you a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role in Oxford? A fantastic Mainstream Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a great opportunity to support children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), and other learning difficulties in a supportive school environment.
The Role - SEN Teaching Assistant (Oxford)
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to SEN students in Oxford
- Assisting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Global Development Delay, and other additional needs
- Implementing tailored learning strategies alongside teachers and the SENCO
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation in the classroom
- Supporting personal care needs (if required) and promoting independence
Requirements - SEN Teaching Assistant (Oxford)
- Experience working with SEN children (Autism, ADHD, SEMH, Dyslexia, or related needs)
- Level 3 qualification OR relevant degree preferred
- GCSEs in Maths & English (C or above) required
- A patient, resilient, and proactive approach to working with SEN students
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
