Overview:

Insight Executive Group is proud to partner with Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (OUH) to source an experienced Programme Manager to cement a crucial role within the senior leadership team of the Capital Development Directorate. This strategic position involves leading project management teams to effectively develop and manage the Trust’s Capital Programme, ensuring alignment with long-term patient care, staff welfare, and clinical service delivery goals.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of the 5-Year Capital Programme, ensuring alignment with the Trust’s strategic objectives.
  • Governance and Oversight: Manage governance arrangements to uphold standards and achieve program goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Forge productive relationships within the Trust and with external stakeholders to facilitate effective capital project delivery.
  • Risk and Project Management: Implement robust project and risk management tools to ensure successful delivery of significant projects.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Professional Accreditation: Must be a Chartered Construction Professional (RICS, RIBA, CEng, ARB, or similar).
  • Education: Degree or Diploma aligned with key competencies in construction and contract management.
  • Experience: Proven track record in project planning and programming across varied projects. Must have substantial experience in senior project manager line management, including recruitment, goal setting, appraisals, and professional development.
