JOB - Quality Inspector

LOCATION - Oxfordshire

TERM - Permanent

SALARY - £30,000 - £33,000 per annum

Were seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in the manufacturing industry who is passionate about quality control and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual and dimensional quality inspections on products and components
  • Provide technical support and resolve queries in collaboration with the Test and Inspection team
  • Review production rejects and identify areas for improvement
  • Perform equipment calibration as required
  • Maintain and update document control records
  • Assist in reviewing supplier quality, including ICARs and improvement plans
  • Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics and testing outcomes
  • Support production testing and witness external testing processes when needed
Essential Qualifications
  • Solid foundation in engineering principles
  • Strong understanding of quality standards (ISO 9001 required; AS9100 or equivalent preferred)
  • Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, adaptable to all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in IT skills, particularly MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
