Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 basic salary
Location: Oxfordshire, Southeast England
Company Description
One of the UK's most recognised MEP building services contractors are currently hiring a Mechanical Supervisor, as a result of significant company growth. My client have a history spanning 50 years, where they now offer a complete one-stop MEP building services engineering solution to a broad range of main contractors and developers while covering the commercial office, education, heritage, hotel/ leisure & residential construction sectors.
Based between head office and site, the appointed individual will be responsible for complete mechanical site supervision & coordination, ensuring a seamless project delivering in accordance with installation is completed to the highest standard. In return, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role as part of a well-structured senior management team whereby receiving a tailored career progression path and long term security.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervising and managing mechanical trades, subcontractors and direct labour.
- Project planning and monitoring.
- Ensuring mechanical scope (fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, pipework etc.) are executed according to project design.
- Coordination with other MEP trades, ensuring a seamless integration of services.
- Enforcing HSE regulations and identifying potential risks.
- Inspecting mechanical installations, to ensure the highest of quality standards.
- Project documentation & reporting including RAMS & method statements etc.
- Problem solving.
- Stakeholder management.
Remuneration Package
- A very competitive basic salary between £50,000 - £55,000.
