Role & Responsibilities:Â
As Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of heritage restoration and construction projects. This will include:
- Managing projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinating with clients, architects, subcontractors, and specialist trades.
- Ensuring adherence to conservation standards and practices.
- Handling procurement and contract management.
- Mitigating risks and problem-solving while maintaining the highest quality of workmanship.
- Leading and motivating on-site teams.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, ideally within heritage, restoration, or conservation projects.
- Strong understanding of conservation principles and traditional building methods.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A relevant qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Familiarity with building regulations, planning laws, and health & safety protocols.
- A passion for history and heritage work.
