This is an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join a reputable Tier 2 Main Contractor working on an initial project in Oxfordshire

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

This is an opportunity to join a reputable Tier 2 Main contractor who have gone from strength to strength over the past 4 years and have secured further work across the region. You will be working as part of a commercial team with support from a Senior Quantity Surveyor on site managing packages from 2-stage tender through to final accounts. The project is currently on site with another 18 months remaining. The project is complex with lots of change, remeasure and variations. This is a site based position that can offer some flexible and home working.

Requirements for Quantity Surveyor:

The company are looking for a candidate who has strong negotiation and communication skills, is organised and has high attention to detail. You will come from a Main contractor background, and be competent in managing subcontractor packages with minimal assistance. You will be highly motivated and ambitious as there is opportunity to progress your career with the team. You will ideally also have the following

• Degree in a construction related subject
• Experience with JCT Traditional contract
• Minimum of 4 years experience with another main contractor
