About the Company:A very well renowned SME, best known for their high-quality projects.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Quantity Surveying & Commercial Management (HNC/Degree)
  • Over 4 years of post-graduate experience, including at least 1 year as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Extensive experience in Construction/Civil Engineering (Subcontractor/Contractor roles)
  • Knowledge of NEC & JCT Contracts
  • Self-driven, meticulous, and an effective communicator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for projects ranging from £1K to £5M
  • Overseeing budgets, contracts, and procurement to ensure project profitability
  • Negotiating contracts and cost-effective solutions with subcontractors & suppliers
  • Monitoring job costs, materials, and labour to maintain efficiency and quality
  • Conducting site visits and office work to manage project costs and progress
  • Assisting in valuations for monthly payment applications for labour, material, and plant
  • CAD experience is advantageous
