This is an opportunity for a skilled professional to join a dynamic team with a competitive salary of up to 70,000 per annum, depending on skills and experience. The role will be solely based within the Oxford region.

Key Responsibilities


  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to ensure project viability.
  • Monitor project costs, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit progress payment claims to clients.
  • Assist in resolving disputes or claims related to costs or variations.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations related to quantity surveying.

Skills And Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in cost estimation techniques and relevant software.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
