Senior Quantity Surveyor

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an established main contractor based in Oxford. The business is a regional contractor who operate out of several offices across the country, including one based in Oxford. They undertake projects across a range of sectors including commercial, education, residential and care typically valuing up to 20mil. Projects are administered via JCT and NEC forms of contract.

About the role of Senior Quantity Surveyor:

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working within the commercial team, managing your own projects valuing up to 20mil. You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager and will be responsible for the support and mentoring of more junior members of the team.

Key Responsibilities as Senior Quantity Surveyor:

Be involved in pre-contract activities including the 2-stage tender process
Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion
Take full responsibility of all sub-contract packages from procurement to final account
Undertake monthly CVRs
Support / mentor junior members of staff on the team

Key Requirements for this Senior Quantity Surveyor role:

Have a proven track record of managing projects valuing up to 20mil
Have an in-depth knowledge of JCT forms of contract (NEC is beneficial)
Be an ambitious and driven individual
Live within a commutable distance to Oxford and have the full right to work in the UK.
