Berry Recruitment are NOW hiring for 2 committed and experienced Trainee Talent Acquisition Administrator to work for a Market leading Accountancy firm in Oxford, Oxfordshire.

Role: Trainee Talent Acquisition Administrator

Salary: £24,000 - £25,000

Location: Oxford, Oxfordshire

Hours: Hybrid Working

Key Responsibilities of the Trainee Talent Acquisition Administrator:

  • Managing the recruitment inbox, responding promptly to queries from and escalating emails to the wider talent acquisition team for assistance when required.
  • Logically file emails into relevant folder/s, ensuring important communications are easily accessible.
  • Assist in the initial review of candidates' CVs, asking questions when required and escalating strong candidates to the relevant Talent Acquisition team member.
  • Provide general administrative support across the entire recruitment process, including scheduling and booking Microsoft Teams interviews for both the Talent Acquisition Coordinator and Group Talent Acquisition Manager, as well as creating interview packs for face-to-face interviews.
  • Become an expert in our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Confidently manage the administration side of the applicant lifecycle.
  • Run reports to analyse applicant statistics and provide summaries of these reports to the Group Talent Acquisition Manager on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Publish and edit job adverts on both external job boards and on the ATS, and create Microsoft Teams posts to inform the wider company about new vacancies.
  • Assist with facilitating technical assessments for candidates, both face-to-face and remotely.
  • Use Thomas International to send PPA questionnaires to candidates being progressed.
  • Pull and save candidate PPA reports, ensuring they are ready ahead of face-to-face interviews.
  • Manage initial communication with recruitment agencies and candidates via both telephone and email.
  • Scan and save written interview notes into the relevant folders on the recruitment SharePoint drive.
  • Ensure our tracker spreadsheets are maintained and kept up to date.
  • Ensure our recruitment systems and files are kept up-to-date, accurate, and compliant with our Data Privacy policy and GDPR.
  • Generating Offer Letters and Contracts of Employment for hires across the Shaw Gibbs Group.
  • You will also have the opportunity to attend careers fairs alongside the Talent Acquisition Coordinator, representing Shaw Gibbs to potential trainee applicants at both local Sixth Forms and Universities.

About you:

  • A minimum of 3 A-levels at grades A to C (or equivalent).
  • A university degree with a 2:1 or above is desired but is not essential.
  • A strong aptitude for IT - confident with Excel and able to pick up new tech quickly.
  • Super organised, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to prioritise workload effectively and work in a flexible manner.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrates a strong team spirit but also very effective working independently.
  • Relevant work experience would be great but is not essential.
