We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Oxfordshire who are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join them after Easter. The candidate will specialise in French and Spanish. This is a temporary role on a long-term supply contract up until July.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in French and Spanish to students at KS3 and KS4 levels (potentially KS5 depending on experience).
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress, ensuring learners reach their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters enthusiasm for languages.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning and departmental activities.
  • Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold the school's standards and values.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching French and Spanish in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to suit varying needs.
  • Must have a right to work in the UK!
  • Must be available to start after Easter!
