We are looking for a Deputy Manager to take on a rewarding and people focused role. Working in a large team with 4 other managers you will be key in ensuring the stores performance. Based in Cowley you will need to have access to your own transport.

Working hours will be 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required therefore you must be able to offer some flexibility.

Duties of the Deputy Manager:

  • Open and close the store.
  • Set up displays.
  • Allocate tasks to staff.
  • Organise and sort stock.
  • Offer excellent customer service.
  • Cashing up of tills.
  • Taking payments.
  • Book collections and deliveries.
  • Answer calls.
  • Manage a team.

Personal Attributes:

  • Previous management experience.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Able to problem solve and make effective decisions.
  • Work well within a team.
  • Be happy to help staff on the shop floor.

Experience within a retail environment would also be beneficial but is not required.
