Behaviour Support Specialist - Oxford

  • Our highly inclusive school in Oxford, are looking for a Behaviour Support Specialist to join their team starting as soon as possible.
  • They prioritise student inclusivity and development and ensure that the learnign environemnt is a place where students will thrive despite the challanges they face.
  • This is a great opportunity for those who are looking to really make a difference in the lives of students who need additional support.
  • Your role will involve working with students who have severe emotional and mental health needs.
  • The students struggle with high levels of stress and anxiety and emotional dysregulation.
  • They need support to manage and process their emotions. They have never been modeled healthy ways to cope with ther stress, so the focus will be on their emotional and mental well being.
  • You will collaborate with parents and caregivers to offer guidance and support and follow through with any intervetnions set out in their EHCP's.
  • The role is to start as soon as possible
  • To be considered, you must have a good attitude, be positive and empathetic and understand the importance of sageuarding.
  • You will need a full enhanced DBS check to be considered for the role, but dont worry if you dont have one, we can support your application.
