We are looking for a passionate Behaviour Support Worker to join a thriving Secondary School in Oxford.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to students, promoting positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
- Work closely with teachers and support staff to implement behaviour management strategies.
- Assist in developing and maintaining an inclusive classroom environment that encourages all students to thrive.
- Build positive relationships with students to understand their needs and challenges.
- Support the emotional and social development of students in collaboration with pastoral teams.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working in an educational setting, particularly with young people aged 11-16.
- A strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, staff, and parents.
- A compassionate, patient, and resilient individual who can adapt to the varied demands of the role.
