Home Care Worker

The Home Care Assistant position is open to candidates residing in the United Kingdom, with a preference for those located in Oxford.

Applicants must have a full UK drivers lisence.

A Care Worker offers daily support to individuals in need of care, helping with everyday tasks to enhance their quality of life. They provide assistance to children, the elderly, and individuals with physical or learning disabilities. Their work hours can include weekends, evenings, and even 24-hour care.

• Care Workers may be directly employed by the person receiving care or hired through a home care agency. They work in private homes, care facilities, and community settings. In certain situations, specialized training may be required to care for specific types of patients.

The responsibilities of Home Care Assistants differ based on the client's mobility and cognitive abilities. Common tasks include:

• Assisting or supervising clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Preparing meals and snacks, and either assisting with or overseeing eating and drinking.
• Administering medications as needed.
• Performing household duties like cleaning, laundry, shopping, and other domestic tasks.
• Transporting clients to medical appointments and helping with errands.
• Monitoring the client's health conditions.
• Reporting progress and any concerns to the Home Care Manager.

Main Tasks will Conclude:
Personal Care
Medication
Social Visits
Light Housework
Assisting clients with specific nutrition and hydration that is required.
