Service Care Solutions is working on behalf of a employee-focused local authority, based in Oxfordshire, which needs an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team.

The duration of this contract is on a 3-month rolling basis. They can pay a competitive rate of 55-65ph umbrella! The role will require regular office attendance on a weekly basis.

Key Responsibilities of the Adult Social Care Lawyer role

  • Provide legal advice on complex issues related to Adult Social Care. This will include deprivation of Liberty Applications, Deputyship and the interrelation of the Mental Health legislation in Adult Social Care Proceeding
  • Represent the council in court and tribunals
  • Draft legal documents and contracts
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations

Requirements

  • Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 3 years of PQE in Adult Social Care law
  • Experience in representing clients in court and tribunals
  • Someone who has worked for a public sector organisation within an Adult Social Care legal team
