An exciting temporary opportunity has arisen for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to be part of a children and young peopleā€™s substance use services in Oxfordshire. You will provide support and build resilience with children and young people whose parents or other family members use drugs or alcohol. Location: Hybrid working, travelling around OxfordshireHours: 35 hours per weekShifts: Monday to Friday, 9:00am ā€“ 5:00pm ā€“ with flexibilityLength: 2 - 3 months temporaryRate of Pay: Ā£16.00 per hour via an Umbrella company PAYEResponsibilities:ā€¢ Provide a range of tailored interventions with young people depending upon their presenting drug of choice, complexity and needā€¢ Responsible for holding and managing a case load of children & young peopleā€¢ Provide specialist assessments, care planning, and deliver evidence based psychosocial brief and structured interventions through one-to-one appointments, groups, and onlineā€¢ contribute to reducing the negative impacts of drugs and alcohol on children and young peopleā€™s educational achievement, longer term employment prospects and their overall health and wellbeingā€¢ Work effectively with a range of partner agencies to deliver a quality service, focussed on achieving positive change

Essential Requirements:ā€¢ Experience of direct and focused client work with vulnerable young peopleā€¢ Experience of completing and reviewing care plans and risk assessmentsā€¢ A full UK Driving Licence with access to a car
