Are you an experienced Children’s Social Worker looking for a fast-paced and impactful role? Join our Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) Team in Oxfordshire, where you’ll play a vital role in assessing risk, making crucial safeguarding decisions, and ensuring children receive the right support at the right time.
About the RoleAs a Social Worker or Senior Practitioner in our MASH team, you will be responsible for screening and triaging referrals, assessing risks, and working closely with partner agencies to protect children from harm. You will be at the heart of early intervention and child protection, ensuring that children and families receive appropriate support as quickly as possible.
Key Responsibilities- Screen and assess referrals from professionals and the public concerning child safety and well-being.
- Work within a multi-agency team, collaborating with police, health professionals, education providers, and other partners.
- Make timely, well-informed decisions to safeguard children and prevent harm.
- Provide advice and guidance to professionals regarding safeguarding concerns.
- Ensure compliance with statutory guidelines, safeguarding legislation, and best practices.
? A qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.? Experience in child protection, safeguarding, or MASH social work.? Strong risk assessment, decision-making, and analytical skills.? A proactive and child-focused approach to practice.? Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
