Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain robust Python-based services that power our gaming platforms.
- Develop and optimize RESTful APIs to integrate with front-end systems and third-party providers.
- Ensure systems can handle high traffic and maintain low latency during peak gaming hours.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases to store and retrieve critical game data efficiently.
- Implement best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including game designers, QA engineers, and DevOps, to deliver top-notch solutions.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python (3+ years of experience).
- Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and message queues (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience in the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Knowledge of game mathematics or random number generation.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
