Senior Software Developer (Next.js) - Oxford - £70k to £75k (onsite 3 days per week)Avanti is currently partnering exclusively with an exciting AI spin off from Oxford University to hire a talented Senior Software Developer to build a new web application.Based in Oxford, the company mission is to help their customers combine knowledge based AI and human expertise, in order to solve business problems across medical diagnoses, cyber security in finance, and self-driving vehicles.
This role will suit a Senior level Software Developer who wants to work in the office (3 days per week onsite) as part of a past paced and high growth environment, using their experience of modern web application development to build a new product as well as maintain the exceptional integrity and best in class User Experience of the existing product and codebase.Working with the Development team lead and Head of UX, you will work with the following technologies.
- Next.js and TypeScript
- Figma and Storybook
- Redux or similar for complex state management
- Material UI
- React query
- Zustand / Jotai
- tRPC
- Playwright
Required experience
- 5 - 10+ years of web application development experience
- 2+ years of modern web application development experience with Next.js and TypeScript
- Experience working with design systems (Figma and Storybook preferred)
- Mentoring junior developers
The Senior Software Developer role can pay up to £75k and can offer exposure to building a new product in a high performing engineering team.
