1:1 ASD/ADHD Support
Work in an exciting role supporting a vulnerable student that has ASD and ADHD challenges, the student attends a local primary school in Oxford (OX3). The student needs greater educational support from a specialist Learning Support Assistant - Oxford.
The Learning Support Assistant - Oxford role would be based onsite at the Primary school, as the Year 1 student attends school on a full timetable. You would focus on KS1 curriculum work, as the Year 1 child is currently working below their academic target. Mornings will typically consist of supporting the child in their classes, guided by the Year 1 Class Teacher on the activities and classwork adaptations.
The student gets overwhelmed in certain classroom situations and needs support to better integrate with their Year 1 peers. You will be required to deliver 1:1 afternoon interventions and ad-hoc interventions.
- Full time, Monday - Friday (08:30am - 3:15pm)
- Term time only (no weekends or school holidays)
- £16,282.50 - £17,550.50 (pro-rata - £83.50 - £90 per day)

- Have experience working with KS1/EYFS students in any setting, a school/nursery setting preferred.
- Hold or willing to undergo enhanced DBS checks.
- Have GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4)
- NVQ Level 2/3 childcare (a bonus but not required)
