We are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Oxfordshirewho are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher. This will be a full-time position starting after Easter. It will be on a Long-Term supply contract through us with the potential to go permanent through the school in the future. The candidate will ideally be teaching in the UK already, have a significant amount of UK teaching experience and be able to teach French and Spanish to secondary school level(11-16 years old).

The school hiring are rated as "Good" by Ofsted and is located in a fantastic area with access to public transport routes in and out of London. It is an mixed comprehensive school and the behaviour of students is also good!



Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in French and Spanish to students at KS3 and KS4 levels (potentially KS5 depending on experience).
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress, ensuring learners reach their full potential.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters enthusiasm for languages.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to curriculum planning and departmental activities.
  • Maintain excellent classroom management and uphold the school's standards and values.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Proven experience teaching French and Spanish in a secondary school setting.
  • Excellent subject knowledge and the ability to inspire and engage students.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching to suit varying needs.
  • Must have a right to work in the UK!
  • Must be available to start after Easter!
