About the role:
Due to the company's continued success and the amount of new work already in the pipeline, there is an urgent need for an Estimator to join the team and assist with one of their forthcoming larger projects in Oxford. This exciting opportunity will involve estimating costs for a project valued between 5 million and 40 million in either the residential or educational sector. The successful candidate will be based in the company's head office in Oxford and visit the respective sites when needed.
As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for the project, assessing materials, labour, and other associated costs. You will work closely with the project management and commercial teams to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. You will also be involved in risk management and procurement activities, ensuring cost efficiency and value engineering solutions are applied throughout the projectlifecycle. The Estimator will work alongside the Commercial Manager, who will provide day-to-day hands-on guidance and support.

About the requirements:
The ideal candidate should have extensive experience managing a range of projects, including residential, commercial, and educational projects valued between 5m and 40m. They should also have experience in new build and refurbishment projects and a minimum of 3 years per employer to demonstrate stability of employment throughout their career.
