Are you a passionate and dedicated educator with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? We are looking for an experienced tutor to provide high-quality support to students of all ages, helping them achieve their full potential.



About the Role:

  • Deliver personalised one-to-one or small group tuition in your subject specialism.
  • Support students in building confidence and improving their academic performance.
  • Plan and tailor lessons to meet individual learning needs.
  • Provide engaging and interactive sessions, either in person or online.
  • Location: Oxford
  • Position: QTS Tutor
  • Hours: up to 25 hours per week
  • Start date: As soon as possible
  • Duration: ongoing until a school placement is found
  • Contract Type: Temporary/part-time
  • Pay rate: from 25 per hour

Experience, Training and Qualifications of the Tutor:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience working with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Possess UK classroom teaching experience and experience delivering tailored lesson plans
  • Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box
  • Have experience working with challenging behaviour and disengaged pupils

To be eligible for this role, the potential Tutor must:

  • Hold the Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child-related references.
