A dynamic and fast-expanding manufacturing organisation is seeking a permanent Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join their team in Oxford, offering a salary of up to 70,000.

In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient warehousing and global distribution of medical devices. You will provide strategic leadership for the Stores and Logistics departments, identifying and implementing effective solutions to enhance operations.

This position is ideal for individuals with a strong background in logistics leadership, particularly within a regulated manufacturing environment.


Role responsibilities of the Warehouse and Logistics Manager include:

  • Ensuring a high level of warehouse stock accuracy and accurate and efficient customer service, internal and external
  • Ensuring all customer orders are processed and shipments booked in accordance with delivery dates
  • Managing inventory accuracy in third party inventory storage locations
  • Developing import and export document templates and procedures to ensure compliance.
  • Provide day to day supervision and guidance to a team of Stores and Logistics Specialist
  • Seek and implements opportunities to reduce costs, enhance delivery performance and improve overall customer experience

Person Specification of the Buyer:

  • Proven experience within a logistics position within a regulated manufacturing environment
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Previous managerial/mentor experience
  • Experience using SAP or equivalent and understanding of warehousing systems
  • Strong organisational and communication skills


Salary

Up to 70k

This position requires full onsite presence with up to 3 days a month travel
