About the job:We are recruiting a C# Developer to join our client on a long-term temporary assignment. This role involves an opportunity within our Alerting feature team for a Dot Net Developer. The Alerting team is responsible globally for the AlertNow product and a few local bespoke applications.Within that role, you will be responsible for the ongoing development of our PalTrak (Pallet Tracking with NFC/RFID tags) solution. In addition, you may be asked to support updates to other existing local applications. As part of the role, the architecture of PalTrak will be reviewed and a strategy for migration to MS Azure will be developed.Rate: Competitive hourly rateLocation: OxfordWorking environment: Hybrid (2 days working from home, 3 days on site)The opportunityYou will be expected to deliver further features/fixes and improvements to the PalTrak solution and on occasion other legacy UK bespoke applications.You will work with the Product Owner and project team, to continually evolve the strategy and direction for the PalTrak solution.You will support the operations team in dealing with issues raised by the users and/or automated monitoring.An opportunity to work within a small team.Travel to other plants in order to provide training on the solution, testing of your developments and for discussions with stakeholders.What will you bring to the global premium automotive brand:- Good communication skills are essential as part of the planning process involves regular close contact with business stakeholders at all.- A good understanding of Agile Development methodology. - An advanced level of programming techniques (C#, DotNet Core, RFID, Microsoft Xamarin, MS Azure, Oracle SQL and PL/SQL)- The ability to manage multiple projects at the same time - Existing project management experience.- Self-motivated for continuous learning opportunities.- Must be experienced in analytical and problem-solving skills - Cooperation skills and negotiation power. - Must have a Full UK driving licence.How will we support you:The business core values are integral to their corporate culture and guide their actions and decisions.
