- Removing exhausts from assembly robot into tolerance jig (average 30 per hour).
- Leak testing exhaust systems.
- TIG welding of exhausts systems where leak test has failed.
- Following high standards and company procedures.
- Spot checks, quality assurances and self-inspection of the standard of welds.
- Undertaking all other production and warehouse tasks as required.
- Following all health and safety policies and procedures to strict guidelines.
- Early shifts 06:00 to 16:00
- Late shift 16:00 to 02:00
- Early = £12.97 per hour
- Lates = £15.11 per hour
- Overtime paid at X1.5 after 40 hours per week.
- This is primarily a production role with the requirement for TIG welding, and as such you will be on your feet for the most part of the shift.
- Exhaust systems are fully assembled when removing from the assembly robot, therefore a good level of physical ability will be required due to the nature of this position.
- Applicants must be flexible in their availability. Overtime will be necessary when business requirements arise. TIG welding coding certificate not required but previous experience is necessary.
