Role: Premises Manager
Location: Oxted, Surrey

Career Teachers are seeking a committed and dependable Premises Manager to become part of a team at a lively primary school in Oxted. This position is vital for the efficient daily operations of the school, ensuring a secure and hygienic environment for students, staff, and visitors.
Main Duties:
- Supervise the overall upkeep and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds.
- Perform regular inspections and pinpoint maintenance requirements.
- Handle the security of the school premises, including opening and closing the school, and addressing emergencies.
- Liaise with external contractors for significant repair and maintenance projects.
- Maintain adherence to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support the setup for school events and activities as needed.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a school setting.
- Strong practical skills in general building maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Keen attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving attitude.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
