Day-to-Day of the Role:
  • Supervise classes for absent teaching staff and invigilate examinations.
  • Assist with administrative tasks including the management of classroom resources and student work.
  • Engage with students to ensure a productive and disciplined environment.
  • Accompany and supervise students on trips and visits, ensuring their safety and positive behaviour.
  • Communicate effectively with staff about classroom activities and student progress.
  • Support the school’s ethos, helping to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all students.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A good level of education including GCSE grade C or equivalent in Mathematics and English.
  • Experience working with young people is highly advantageous.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to use ICT tools (Word, Excel, SIMS) for administration and learning.
  • Flexibility and the ability to respond to changing priorities quickly.
