Girls PE Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated Girls PE Teacher to join our vibrant team at a leading educational institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development of pupils across the school, ensuring they receive the highest level of teaching for individual and team success. 

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Teach a variety of sports, with a focus on girls Pe, as directed by the Director of Sport and Head of PE.
  • Lead and assist in games sessions, including match days, promoting team spirit and enjoyment.
  • Communicate proactively with pupils to ensure progression, improvement, and understanding.
  • Select teams for inter-school fixtures and referee/umpire school fixtures/tournaments.
  • Publish match reports and communicate with parents regarding team selection and other issues.
  • Fulfil supervisory duties before and after games/matches, including changing room supervision and match tea duty.
  • Coordinate after-school and evening activities for day and boarding pupils.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a sports coach, and QTS.
  • Ability to inspire and effectively coach teams, prioritising the welfare and happiness of young children.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational practices.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and contribute to extracurricular programmes.
