About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join our [department/school name] team. - Foster a safe, hygienic, and inclusive classroom environment where students can confidently develop their skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress through regular evaluations, ensuring timely feedback to students and parents.
- Maintain and manage Food Technology resources, equipment, and budgets effectively.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote awareness of food hygiene and best practices.
- Support students in developing transferable skills, such as teamwork, time management, and critical thinking.
- Participate in curriculum development to ensure the subject remains engaging and relevant.
- Collaborate with colleagues in the Design and Technology department to create interdisciplinary projects and initiatives.

Essential:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- A degree or relevant qualification in Food Technology, Nutrition, or a related field.
