We are looking for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work in a secondary school in Oxted. The role starts ASAP.
The role will be working 1:1 with a year 10 student in the classroom, helping to support with her dyslexia, dyscalculia and take a lead in supporting other staff to work with her.
The successful candidate for this HLTA role must have previous experience working with children with dyslexia, dyscalculia,and autism.
Essential criteria:
- have HLTA qualification or direct experience working as an HLTA
- at least 2 years working within UK schools with children with autism, dyslexia and dyscalculia
- a current enhanced DBS to work with children, ideally on the update service
Essential information:
- this role is working 5 hours a day from 9.30am-2.30pm and is 5 days a week term time only
- we pay competitive rates in line with your qualifications and experience
- we pay weekly, either PAYE or via umbrella including or excluding holiday pay as you choose
