Key Responsibilities-
Curriculum Delivery:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in food technology that align with the school’s curriculum and standards.
- Incorporate practical and theoretical components to create a balanced learning experience.

- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and supported.
- Maintain high standards of behavior and discipline in the classroom and kitchen facilities.

Practical Skills Development:
- Teach students essential culinary skills, including food preparation, presentation, and kitchen hygiene.
- Encourage creativity in recipe development and meal planning.

Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure all practical activities comply with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments for practical lessons and maintain a safe working environment.

Assessment and Feedback:
- Monitor and assess student progress through assignments, tests, and practical evaluations.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their skills and understanding.

Resource Management:
- Manage and maintain kitchen equipment, tools, and materials.
- Ensure adequate stock of ingredients and supplies for practical lessons.

- Education: A degree or equivalent qualification in Food Technology, Nutrition, Home Economics, or a related field.
- Teaching Qualification: A recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS) is highly desirable.
- Experience: Previous teaching experience in food technology or a similar subject is preferred.
