Pipefitter

Cogent Staffing are recruiting on behalf of our Burnley based client for a experinced Pipefitter .

They work withing a range of sectors such as Utilities, Power Generation, Defence and Power Generation. Providing services for Fuel Management, Clean Energy Transition and Environmental services.

Package

• £30,000
• Over time rate in addition
• 48 hour working week
• Permanent Role
• Monday to Friday

Duties

• Attending customers sites to complete planned and reactive works, both on and around the fuel system, these works include but are not limited to, pipework installation and modification, tank installation and decommissioning, installing/maintaining and replacing of gauges, alarms, filters, valves, pumps and filtration equipment
• Fuel quality work including sampling, uplifting, transferring and filtering of fuel
• Testing of tanks and pipework systems
• Completing site inspections and surveys, including the completion of Oil storage regulations and OFTEC questionnaires / DSEAR reporting o Attending to fuel spills where required and containing/cleaning of contamination

Experience  / Qualifications

• Previous experience as a pipefitter
