Mechanical Fitter - Burnley
Hours: Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - 4:00pm, Friday: 7:30am - 1:00pm
Pay Rate: 15 - 16 per hour (depending on experience)
Temp - Perm

We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in Burnley. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established company offering great hours, competitive pay, and a supportive work environment.

Mechanical Fitter Key Responsibilities:

Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and machinery.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical plans.
Conduct fault finding, repairs, and regular maintenance on mechanical equipment.
Ensure all work is completed to high standards and within safety guidelines.
Work both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.

Mechanical Fitter Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Knowledge of health and safety procedures related to mechanical fitting.
Ability to work effectively within a team and meet project targets.

The Package
This is a temporary, Mechanical Fitter role,37.5 hours per week for an initial 3 months, covering the recruitment process for a permanent team member, meaning the role could be extended, or become permanent.
