A client based in Padiham is seeking a Mechanical Fitter to create bespoke machinery for various sectors.
The role is primarily workshop-based (75%) but requires some travel for installation worldwide, including locations like Norway, Egypt, and America.
Candidates must have experience in building machinery from raw materials to functional machines, particularly in the wire and cable industries.
The position offers a salary range of £29,000 to £32,000, depending on experience.
Interested applicants should have mechanical fitter experience and be available for shifts from Monday to Friday.

We are working with our client based in Padiham looking for a Mechanical Fitter to make bespoke machinary for various different sectors of work.

This is an exciting role that will be 75% workshop based however some travel is essential and giving you the ability to fit the machinary around the world, some of the places they have fitted recently included Norway, Egypt, Poland, America, just to name a few.

They require someone who has experiance of building machinary from various products such as raw steel to a working machine. It is very rare that one machine will be dupicated straight away working mainly in the wire and cable industries.
