About the Role:
Are you a highly motivated and hands-on individual with a passion for working with vehicles? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy tackling diverse challenges? If so, we encourage you to apply for our Fitter/Body Engineer position!
In this role, you will play a vital part in our production process, working alongside experienced engineers to:
- Fabricate,assemble,and install various bodywork components for commercial vehicles.
- Perform mechanical and electrical tasks,including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Ensure all work meets stringent quality standards and adheres to safety regulations.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong mechanical engineering skills and experience working with commercial vehicles.
- Proficiency in hydraulics,pipework,and general fitting tasks (e.g.,using spanners,bolting,drilling).
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Bonus points if you have:
- Experience with electrical systems in vehicles.
- Welding experience.
