Electrical Project Manager / EngineerRenewable Energy£45-50kCornwall AreaIf you are an experienced engineer with strong electrical expertise, then this could be the right role for you! This would suit someone with experience of high voltage equipment and ideally some experience within renewable energy such as wind turbines or solar PV.This will be mainly based at the companies Cornwall site with some travel to other sites throughout the UK.For full details on this interesting and varied role please apply online and one of the team at Reed will be in touch.

Day-to-day of the role:Perform both high and low voltage installation work as required across all projects.Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across all sites.Engage in high and low voltage electrical design, plant specification, and liaise with subcontracted designers for high voltage design.Analyse site performance to implement improvements for ongoing operation.Identify, record, and respond to faults with a proactive, problem-solving approach.Complete designs and reports, and review and monitor all asset-managed renewable energy sites on a rotational basis, including weekend cover.

Required Skills & Qualifications:City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent.Level 3 Technical and Vocational Qualification or Level 3 Diploma.BS7671 18th Edition.High Voltage experience.Methodical, accurate, and process-focused approach.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Computer literacy.Valid driving license.Flexibility for working throughout the UK, including evenings and weekends.Minimum 5 years of experience within the renewables industry.

Desired Skills:Experience in PV installation and maintenance, along with onshore wind.CAD experience.Experience in communications set-up and configuration.HV Authorised Person / Switching Course.18th Edition amendment
