Join my client, a leader in renewable energy systems across the UK, as an Electrical Installer. Since 2010, their in-house team of experts has been at the forefront of designing, building, and operating Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine systems. They offer a unique 360-degree service that covers all aspects of project development, ensuring excellence and innovation in every task they undertake.
Day-to-day of the role:- Conduct planned and reactive maintenance across all managed renewable energy sites.
- Regularly review and monitor site performance, including weekend rotations, to ensure optimal operation.
- Proactively identify, record, and respond to any faults or issues.
- Manage and complete Low Voltage electrical design and installations.
- Analyse site data to enhance ongoing operations and efficiency.
- Prepare detailed reports on site status and maintenance activities.
- City and Guilds 2365-02/03, or equivalent/higher.
- City and Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
- Must have BS7671 18th Edition.
- A methodical, accurate, and process-focused approach.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Proficient in computer usage.
- Valid driving license.
- Flexibility to work across the UK, including evenings and weekends (expenses covered and food allowance)
- A minimum of 5 years of industry experience.
- Experience in PV installation and maintenance.
- CAD proficiency.
- Knowledge in communications setup and configuration.
- Experience in High Voltage design, installation, and maintenance.
