Cost Accountant

The finance team is front and centre in the business and the team is passionate about driving growth and delivering high-quality financial reports to the wider organisation. The successful Cost Accountant will be detail-oriented and be confident dealing with operations staff as well as senior leadership. You will play a critical role in managing and analysing cost data, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and analyze cost reports and financial statements. Monitor and manage cost accounting systems and processes. Conduct variance analysis between actual and standard costs. Collaborate with the production team to ensure accurate cost allocation. Assist in budget preparation and financial planning. Perform regular audits of inventory and cost accounting processes. Provide insights and recommendations to management based on cost analysis. Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Develop and maintain standard costing models.

Required Skills:Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA) preferred. Experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
