Join our team as a Nursery Practitioner, where Reed is working in partnership with a leading school trust. We are dedicated to providing first-class childcare and early years education. We are seeking a passionate Nursery Practitioner to be part of our caring team, committed to transforming the lives of children from 9 months to 2 years old.
Day-to-day of the role:- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development.
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, mealtime, and rest periods.
- Observe and assess children’s progress, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure the well-being and development of each child.
- Maintain accurate records of each child’s daily activities and progress.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of children at all times.
- Assist with general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and organized nursery environment.
- Previous experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Relevant qualification in childcare or early childhood education (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
