gap personnel is seeking Production Packers for a temporary to permanent position in Paignton, Devon.
Candidates should ideally have experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, particularly in a packing role.
The pay rate starts at £11.44 per hour, increasing to £13.27 per hour after the initial training period and for hours worked beyond 38.5 per week.
The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines.
Successful applicants will work Monday to Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, with a preference for candidates who have reliable transportation.

Temp to Perm

Paignton, Devon

gap personnel are recruiting for a number of Production Packers for a temporary to permanent vacancy based in Paignton, Devon.

As a Production Packer you will be packing products off a high-speed machine in a fast-paced manufacturing environment as well as ensuring regular visual quality checks are undertaken. This location is accessible by a major local bus route.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following

Packing products
Checking of product prior to packaging
Palletising
To keep the Shift Supervisor informed of any problems encountered with Production processes and/or equipment
To pack product in line with Company standards including BRC Global Standards for packaging
To ensure all product is labelled correctly

Requirements from candidate:

Eye for detail
Experience of working in a manufacturing environment is preferable, ideally within a faced paced environment in a Packing capacity
Strong communication
Dependable and have a reliable mode of transport to commute to work
Able to operate in a sometimes-pressurised environment working to deadlines
Teamwork

Working Hours & Pay Rates:

Monday to Friday, 0730am - 1630pm (12.00pm finish on a Friday) - 1 Week whilst training, then moving onto the below shift.
Monday-Friday, 1400pm – 2200pm
£11.44 per hour, £17.16 per hour after 38.5 hours per week rising to £13.27ph once moved onto shift.
