Day-to-day of the role:
  • Lead the strategic development of talent acquisition, induction, and retention across the Trust.
  • Collaborate closely with the Senior Management Team, People Directorate, and Educational Strategy Team to align talent strategies with organisational goals.
  • Take charge of professional development within the Trust, working closely with development leads in our schools.
  • Influence stakeholders and deliver results through proactive, solution-focused approaches.
  • Drive the improvement of educational outcomes through effective talent management and development strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition and recruitment, ideally within the education sector.
  • Significant experience leading a Learning and Development function, including Teacher Training programmes.
  • Strong strategic vision with the ability to align talent acquisition strategies with business objectives.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
