Sonic Summary

The position is for Class 1 Night drivers working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, responsible for transporting freight to UK airports and client locations.
Candidates must have a valid Class 1 (C+E) license and a minimum of 2 years' experience driving LGV vehicles, with a clean driving record.
The job offers a pay rate of £19.00 per hour, with an additional £25.00 for night outs, and is a temp to perm position.
Responsibilities include delivery and collection of air freight, safe operation of vehicles, loading and unloading cargo, and adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
Candidates should have good geographical knowledge of UK roads, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently.

We are looking for Class 1 Night drivers to work 4 on 4 off.Main Job ObjectiveAs a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight to UK wide airports and client’s locations. This is a great opportunity for individuals with commercial driving experience who enjoy being on the road and working independently.Job Responsibilities

Delivery and collection of Air freight to UK wide Airports
Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials
Load and unload cargo as needed
Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
Adhere to all tachograph laws, traffic laws and regulations
Conduct daily walkaround checks
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage

Requirements

Valid Class 1 (C+E) license with clean driving record (Min 2 years’ experience)
Minimum of 2 years’ experience of driving LGV vehicles
Previous experience working within the cargo aviation industry is an advantage but not essential
Ability to work to deadlines
Have a good geographical knowledge of UK roads
Have a positive attitude and be of smart appearance
Full 5-year work history with no more than 28 days gap
Cargo Operative Aviation certificate is also required but if you do not have one, we will provide training.

Valid DCPC
Valid Digi Tacho Card
No more than 6 points (No IN or DR accepted)
Experience with roller bed, Fridge and curtain sider trailers is preferred
Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
