Domestic Gas Engineer – Paisley – Facilities Maintenance
FM Search & Select Ltd is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join a leading facilities maintenance company based in Paisley. This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in domestic gas systems, as well as experience in plumbing, electrical work, and minor fabric repairs.
Package:
- Competitive salary £38,000 - £40,000Â

Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance, repairs, and installations on domestic gas systems.
- Work closely with mechanical engineers as part of a multi-skilled team.
- Diagnose and repair gas, plumbing, and electrical faults efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
- Recognised SVQ/NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing/Heating (or equivalent).
- Gas Safe certification (CCN1 & CENWAT).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel and complete a Disclosure check.
Desirable:
- Commercial Gas Tickets (COCN1 or CODNCO1).
- 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations certification.
