Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise CNC programmes for milling and fabrication processes.
  • Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring proper tooling and materials are used.
  • Conduct quality checks using precision measuring instruments to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
  • Utilise hand tools and materials handling techniques to assist in the assembly of components.
  • Maintain accurate records of production data and machine performance.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices while working in the warehouse environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and tooling as required.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in CNC programming, particularly with milling machines.
  • Familiarity with welding processes is advantageous.
  • Strong understanding of basic mathematics for precise measurements and calculations.
  • Experience in materials handling and the use of hand tools is essential.
