- Key responsibilities include maintaining the environmental management system, conducting audits, and providing guidance for sustainability initiatives.
- The position offers a pay rate of £23.08 per hour PAYE, with a 6-month contract that has the potential to become permanent.
- The role requires working Monday to Friday from 8 am to 4 pm on-site.
They are looking to take on an Environmental assurance officer to ensure compliance within the facility.
Ideal candidate:
IEMA foundation certificate (or equivalent)
IOSH working safely (or equivalent)
Responsibilities:
Maintaining all aspects of the environmental management system and facility compliance through audits and investigations.
Assuring compliance through audits and investigations.
Provide specialist support and guidance for the business to enable continuous development of a positive and proactive sustainability culture.
Provide detailed analysis of date to enable development of business environmental strategies.
Deliver internal environmental training
Provide interface between compliance teams, customers and suppliers.
Identify improvement opportunities.
review and prioritise all reactive work requests to maintain optimum business performance.
Manage, finance, and purchasing process to ensure all contracted services and receipted in a timely manner.
Project manage local new works to ensure delivery on time and within budget.
location: Glasgow airport
Shift Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm on site.
23.08ph PAYE
6 month contract with potential to turn into a permanent position.
